Gladys admitted to MedBridge at ManorCare for rehabilitation following her diagnosis of pneumonia and recent findings of lung cancer. She was debilitated and required physical and occupational therapy. Gladys was nervous about going to a rehabilitation center and asked that her daughter find a nice place to go. Immediately upon her arrival at ManorCare, she felt comfortable as her transition was very smooth, the nursing staff was kind and compassionate. Since beginning her therapy sessions Gladys has noticed the impact that the therapy has made.
"I can't get over the therapy I've had at ManorCare. They've pushed me to the limit. I can tell that it has really paid off. Jamie, my physical therapist, has been essential to my recovery. I think ManorCare is a fabulous place!" - Gladys
Gladys was ecstatic that her daughter was able to bring her dog Coco to visit, this served as additional encouragement for her to participate so that she could reunite at home with her 'baby.' Gladys is excited to return home with her daughter and her precious puppy, Coco, and enjoy the summer at her pool.
